Lead generation for energy sales teams, EPCs and suppliers
FieldProspects turns the U.S. power project queue into a target-account list for companies that sell into energy. The database lists 24,750 people at 406 companies, 9,392 of them at VP or Director level, beside 8,057 planned projects. Filter the projects you can serve, then export the people.
Data as of
Most products fit a slice of the queue, not all of it. The steps below narrow the planned pipeline to the projects you can serve, rank the companies behind them, and choose the level and department to call.
The database holds the people. This page shows only how many there are.
What is a target account?
A target account is a company on a sales team's priority list. Here it is a developer with planned projects that fit what you sell, and the people at that company you want to reach.
Step 1: Start with the projects you can serve
The Planned table covers 8,057 projects, totaling 1,547.4 GW. By technology that is 3,475 solar, 2,444 battery storage, 870 natural gas and 613 wind, with the remaining technologies making up the rest. Stack filters for technology, state, grid and capacity band until the list matches what you sell.
Step 2: Turn projects into accounts
The table ranks the five companies with the most attributed planned projects nationally, with the number of people the database holds at each. These are national totals. Filtering the Planned table narrows the project list to the ones you can serve.
A developer is named on 50.8% of planned projects, so a project with no named developer does not produce an account. The people count is a count of rows in the database, never a list on this site.
| Company | Planned projects | Planned capacity | People in the database |
|---|---|---|---|
| NextEra Energy | 191 | 36.8 GW | 906 |
| Invenergy | 135 | 27.1 GW | 559 |
| Engie | 80 | 17.6 GW | 59 |
| RWE | 78 | 12.8 GW | 678 |
| AES Clean Energy | 61 | 9.9 GW | 801 |
Step 3: Choose the level you call on
Manager (9,398 people, 38%) and Director (6,106, 24.7%) are the two largest levels. VP adds 3,286 people and C-suite 925, so the VP and Director levels together hold 9,392.
56 people have no seniority stated. The full count by level is on the contacts data page, linked below.
Step 4: Cut by department, then export
Departments are listed for most people: Engineering & Technical has 5,383, Operations 4,457, Finance 3,776 and Information Technology 3,634. One person can list several departments, so those counts add to more than the total, and 7,361 people list none.
297 of the 406 company names match 296 companies in the Developers table, which is how a filtered project list becomes a list of people. When the list is right, export it to CSV or Excel.
